Junie's New Room

So this baby's bedroom is assembled! Of course we still need to paint, get a rug and a bookshelf, and add some other small details, but the main pieces are good to go . Here are some pictures.

Thanks for the book, Shaunny!

A very special present from Junie's BFF to be, Sophia!

Watch me grow!

We'll keep you posted (haha... no pun intended) as we make more progress on June Bug's room :)

21 Weeks!

I think I gained about 5 lbs. just this week. I feel huge! Junie kicks a lot now! I can feel her the most between 8 and 10 AM and after 6 PM. Here are some pictures.

"What's in there, ma?! Is that my little sister?"

It's a...

GIRL! She's very active, and has long fingers and toes, just like mommy! Everything looks wonderful. She's measuring perfectly. We saw her heart, brain, spine, kidneys, stomach, bones, and eye lens! We'll put pictures up as soon as we scan them in. Thanks to Daddy for letting us buy some new baby outfits after the appointment. This little darling will look adorable in her flowered sun hat and khakis!

First kicks!

No cool pictures to post... but some GREAT news! Last night around 8:00 PM I felt two very distinct kicks! It felt like someone was poking my belly with their pointer finger, but from the inside. It was a kick, then two seconds, then another kick. That was it! Today I've been feeling some smaller movements... kind of like a tickle. I can't tell though whether it's inside my belly, or just an itch on my skin. Pretty soon I'll be begging Junior to get those little paws out from under my ribs!

18 Weeks!

As you can see, our little Junior is not so "junior" anymore, and either am I!

Here's a Mom's Eye View.

Other than resembling a large, grazing cow, Things have been going well. Energy is back. Sickness is gone. We're counting down the days until we find out if we're on Team Blue or Pink!

Oh, and here's a picture of what the little one looks like right now. Aweeee!
