16 Weeks

So, today is Junior's 16 week pre-birthday! As a special present, I decided to graduate him (or her... that was for you, Shaunna!) to a corner instead of just a closet! Here's a picture of Junior's corner. It's complete with books, cards from friends, art work from students, an old school gameboy signed by Weezer, a few bears, and a picture of what Dave and Buster's thinks Junior will look like.
 
Shaunna and I also went out today and did what we do best... shopping! I picked up a few things... I know I shouldn't have... but how could I resist?!
 
  
As for me... I'm feeling great. The morning sickness is finally about 95% gone, and I have a ton more energy! I'm even staying up later. Last night I was up until 9:00! I'm anxiously awaiting some movement from this little one. I thought I felt someone dancing yesterday while listening to The Get Up Kids (which would be mighty ironic) but I haven't felt anything since. Don't worry... I'll post as soon as I do! 
 

15 Weeks!

Welcome Back! Yesterday marked 15 weeks! Here's a picture of me looking nice and round :)

Finally, here's a picture of someone elses baby at 15 weeks. I can only imagine that's what Junior looks like! But he (or she) is probably way cuter!

14 Weeks

We're 14 weeks and 5 days! That's 103 days of being pregnant! Junior is about the size of a lemon now, and getting bigger every day. 

Junior is about 3 and 1/2 inches from the top of his (or her!) head, to his (or her) rump. He (or she) weighs an ounce and a half... about the same as a letter. Although his (or her) skin is very transparent, it's covered with a very fine hair called lanugo. This hair protects Junior's skin from all that water! 

Although mommy's not feeling anything yet, both of our visits to the midwife have shown that Junior is an active little bean. We've heard his (or her) little heart beat twice now, and can't wait to see him (or her) on March 18th! Then we'll know if it's a girl or a boy!
